With the 2023-24 NBA season almost over, with the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks set to go to battle in the NBA Finals on Thursday, the attention will quickly turn to the 2024 NBA Draft once a champion is crowned in this series between the league’s elite.

Although the Atlanta Hawks will receive a lot of attention as they decide what to do with the No. 1 overall pick and whether to bring in French product Alex Sarr, another player everyone wants to know where he’ll end up is Bronny James, son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James.

Over the past few months, there’s been a lot of speculation about Bronny and whether a team will take a chance on him in the first round or if he’ll get drafted at all in the first and only two rounds on June 26 and 27.

As of right now, there’s no telling where Bronny James will end up, even though there’s a lot of buzz that the Lakers will try to bring him in, but former NBA player Channing Frye thinks he should want to play for the San Antonio Spurs to join superstar center Victor Wembanyama, via “The Dan Patrick Show.”

“If Bronny James were my son, I’d want him to go the Spurs,” Frye said.

This actually makes a lot of sense, with the Spurs needing a point guard and the potential to lure LeBron James in NBA free agency with the addition of his son to the roster.

San Antonio desperately needs to put more talent around Wembanyama, and this could be a way to do it, along with their two first-round draft picks in the first eight picks (No. 4 and No. 8).
