Former LSU star wide receiver and current Vikings All-Pro pass-catcher Justin Jefferson made waves by inking the largest extension for any non-quarterback in NFL history earlier this offseason.
The deal is for four years and is worth $140 million.
His old LSU teammate in Ja’Marr Chase is currently looking for a massive extension too.
Former All-Pro cornerback and Super Bowl champion Chris Harris Jr. recently appeared on Up & Adams to chat about how much Chase is looking to earn in his next deal.
“I definitely see Chase coming up next and trying to beat that (Jefferson’s deal)…They got that little LSU rivalry,” Harris stated.

Since coming into the league in 2021, Chase has been as productive as any wide receiver in the league.
The three-time Pro Bowl pass-catcher has recorded 80+ receptions for 1,000+ yards and 7+ touchdowns each season of his three-year career.
He is coming off of his first 100-catch season despite not playing a full year and without his starting quarterback in Joe Burrow for most of the year.
With his running mate in No. 2 wide receiver Tee Higgins now back in the building after signing his franchise tender, Higgins could potentially be playing his final year with the team.
That means the path could be cleared for Chase to get a massive deal, which is what Harris is alluding to.
The Bengals would be wise to keep the All-Pro under contract for a long, long time.
He is one of the best offensive players in the entire league and is easily one of the best at his position.
