For years, LeBron James has been one of the faces of the NBA.

So, it’s only natural to see that his firstborn, who also happens to play basketball, draw plenty of attention every single time he sets foot on the court.

Nonetheless, his lone season at USC hasn’t led anyone to believe that Bronny James is ready for the NBA.

However, former defensive star Metta World Peace believes he has the potential to be not only a starting-caliber point guard at the next level, but also an All-Star (via TMZ Sports):

“I think he has a shot to be a really good point guard. A starting point guard,” the former NBA star said. “Maybe even All-Star!” Metta said.

Notably, Bronny has grown around NBA talents, and most of the veterans who have watched him play agree that he has what it takes to find success in the league.

Perhaps they’re biased, perhaps they don’t want to cross LeBron, or perhaps they’re onto something.

It wouldn’t be the first time that a player struggles in college and then becomes a star.

Whatever the case, Bronny is most likely going to have an opportunity to prove the doubters wrong — or right.

The prospect of having LeBron on their team will make multiple franchises consider taking a flier on his eldest son.

Whether he winds up living up to Ron Artest’s prediction or not, we shall see down the line.
