The Minnesota Timberwolves were confident heading into the Western Conference Finals against the Dallas Mavericks.
Having just knocked off the reigning NBA Champions, the Timberwolves seemed poised to beat the Mavericks easily in this series.
However, after blowing leads in the fourth quarter of their first three games, the Timberwolves quickly found themselves with their backs against the wall, down 3-0.
They did win Game 4 in Dallas, giving them life to come back to Minnesota to try and win Game 5.
No team has come back from a 3-0 deficit in a series in NBA history.
Can this Timberwolves team be the one to get it done?
Channing Frye certainly believes so, as he highlighted in a recent appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio.
“If Minnesota wins this next game, I think Minnesota wins the whole series,” Frye said.
“They have to win this next game”

Momentum is a big deal in any sport, but especially in the NBA.
The Mavericks might have won the first three games of the series, but if the Timberwolves have momentum after Game 4, and can win Game 5 at home, Frye believes that they could win this series.
The Mavericks present a difficult opponent for any team, as they have a two-headed monster in Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
It’s difficult to stop both of them on any given night, which is part of the reason for the Timberwolves losing the first three games of the series.
However, the Timberwolves have some stars of their own, with Anthony Edwards showing that he’s the real deal, and Karl Anthony-Towns and Rudy Gobert also playing well as of late.
