The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the most heavily scrutinized teams during the NFL offseason.
After another year that ended sooner than they expected, the Cowboys were forced to go back to the drawing board.
Analysts have picked this team apart, predicting a similar result in the 2023 season.
However, in a recent segment of ‘Speak’ on FS1, Bucky Brooks outlined brighter expectations for the Cowboys.
“I know it’s the annual thing that we do here, but this is the Cowboys’ year,” Brooks said.

When he brought this up, the other members of this show appeared exasperated.
Brooks went on to say, “They got all the pieces in place,” indicating the Cowboys don’t need to add anyone else.
He expressed faith in quarterback Dak Prescott and noted that he’s back from injury and ready to contribute in a big way.
Having an elite quarterback in the NFL is paramount.
Without it, especially in today’s NFL, it is nearly impossible to make a deep playoff run.
Can Prescott play similarly to how he did in his first few seasons?
In 12 games last year, Prescott threw for 2,860 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions.
Even though he played in five fewer games than the majority of quarterbacks, he was tied for the league lead in interceptions.
He’ll have to make a monumental turnaround to give the Cowboys a chance at not only contending for the division but a Super Bowl as well.
The Cowboys enter 2023 with massive expectations, as they seem to encounter every year.
Can this be the season they figure everything out?
