Former Player Makes Bold Prediction About Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers still haven’t secured a spot in the playoffs, but they must really like their chances right now.

They’re about to square off with the New Orleans Pelicans, the very same team they beat with ease in the regular-season finale, and a team they’ve dominated in the recent past.

Even if they lose, they will still have another chance to reach the promised land, as they would fight for the No. 8 seed with either the Sacramento Kings or Golden State Warriors.

Some fans and analysts even believe they would be better off tanking their game vs. the Pelicans so they can avoid the Denver Nuggets.

Whatever the case, former NBA player Eddie House claimed that the Lakers aren’t going to miss the playoffs because of LeBron James.

“I just don’t see the playoffs without LeBron in it, that would be ridiculous.”

Talking on The Carton Show, he predicted James would have a monster game vs. the Pelicans, adding that a playoffs without LeBron would be ridiculous.

James does have a well-documented history of rising to the occasion, but it’s not like he has never missed the playoffs in his career.

Just three seasons ago, the Lakers finished well below .500 and out of the playoff picture, and they’ve been a Play-In Tournament team more often than not, with or without James.
