The standings are set and the schedule is finalized: the NBA Play-In Tournament is about to begin.

In a matter of days, the Philadelphia 76ers will battle the Miami Heat, fighting for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.

That’ll be an intense matchup but Eddie House thinks the Heat have this one in the bag.

On Monday’s “The Carton Show,” he said as much, clearly stating that the Heat are going to defeat the 76ers.

“The Miami Heat are gonna beat the 76ers.”

House and the rest of the co-hosts explained that Joel Embiid is still hurt and that will make a huge difference in the showdown between the 76ers and Heat.

The team has won eight games in a row but the Heat are a very difficult opponent and they have repeatedly proven that they can surprise competitors who have counted them out.

Just last season, the Heat played better than a number of teams and stormed all the way to the NBA Finals.

This is a team that should never be discounted or written off.

At the same time, the Sixers have Embiid, who has been playing incredible basketball since his return from months away due to injury.

He is averaging 34.7 points, 11 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game this season and is looking like an MVP again.

Since the start of his career, Embiid has made it clear that he wants to win the Finals.

Although many opponents and injuries have gotten in the way, Embiid has remained focused on his singular goal.

Even if he might not be 100% yet, he is going to be very determined to get past the Heat.

One thing is very clear about this matchup: it’s going to provide wonderful basketball for fans.
