The Golden State Warriors played against the Minnesota Timberwolves without their best player, Stephen Curry, as he was sidelined due to a knee injury.

It was a close game, but the Timberwolves ended up winning, 104-101.

A key reason behind the Timberwolves’ victory was the absence of Draymond Green and Klay Thompson following their altercation with Jaden McDaniels, just two minutes into the game.

While it was initially a scuffle between McDaniels and Thompson, Green stepped in by choking Rudy Gobert.

Considering Green’s unnecessary move, NBA analyst Jay Williams believes that the Warriors veteran will receive a 10-game suspension, via “Get Up” on Twitter.

“I think he’s gonna get a 10-game suspension,” Williams said.

Green is usually regarded as one of the best modern-day defenders, but he has always had trouble controlling his emotions on the court.

The Warriors’ recent game against the Timberwolves was yet another example of Green losing his composure in the heat of the moment.

Now, with Green facing a long suspension, it could further reduce the Warriors’ hopes of making a comeback in the regular season.

Despite being 6-2 a couple of weeks ago, the Warriors are now on a four-game losing streak and have fallen to a 6-6 record.

As a result, the Dubs are now the eighth seed in the Western Conference.

With Curry injured and Green facing a suspension, the Warriors may have ruined their chances of winning games for the next few weeks.
