The San Francisco 49ers were one of the best teams in the NFL throughout the regular season.

They have traditionally been known for having a solid defense, but their offense was also among the league leaders in points per game.

Having some of the best skill-position players certainly helps, and they have worked hard to capitalize on the players they have on the roster.

However, there are some concerns regarding the quarterback position.

Greg Jennings recently appeared on The Carton Show, discussing Brock Purdy and his role on this team.

While he said Purdy is a good quarterback, he also indicated that he isn’t a difference-maker.

“If he does not win, you have to go and try to find a difference maker at that position. A guy maybe like Justin Fields.”

“Is Brock Purdy a good quarterback? Yes. Is he a difference maker? No, he is not. If he does not win, you have to go and try to find a difference maker at that position. A guy maybe like Justin Fields.”

There are a few things to unpack from Jennings’ statement.

He believes that if Purdy doesn’t bring the 49ers a Super Bowl this season, they need to figure out someone else for the position.

Purdy has been a great story since he took over the starting gig, someone who quickly became a fan-favorite throughout the league.

However, while his story is well-known, one that people like to showcase as an underdog mentality, he ultimately needs to win.

Winning is the most essential quality a player like Purdy can bring to their organization, mainly because he was a seventh-round pick.

Seventh-round draft picks don’t often get opportunities to start in the NFL, and if Purdy can’t get it done, the team might turn to someone else to at least compete for the job.
