The San Francisco 49ers are the biggest juggernaut in the NFC.
This team is tailor-made to win a Super Bowl, boasting a plethora of talent on both sides of the field.
Nonetheless, they do have a big question mark at the most crucial position in the game.
Some people still aren’t sold on Brock Purdy, and not even that clutch go-ahead drive vs. the Green Bay Packers was enough to convince his critics of his clutch gene.
Notably, that includes former Super Bowl champion Greg Jennings.
Talking on The Carton Show, Jennings stated that Purdy isn’t a game-changer.
“You can win all you want to, but winning is cool until you keep losing at the most important time. Miss me with all the ‘he’s a good quarterback,’ you gotta get a difference maker,” Jennings said.

He called him a game-manager who’s slightly better than Jimmy Garoppolo.
Jennings claimed that winning games is cool and all, but none of that matters if the guy who takes you the distance keeps losing in big moments, adding that you need to have a difference-maker like Patrick Mahomes to be able to win at the highest level:
Regular-season wins are meaningless if you can’t get the job done when the lights are bright.
Then again, Purdy has only lost one postseason game, and it was a game he wasn’t even able to play for an entire half after suffering an injury.
It’s not like he’s crumbled under pressure; we haven’t seen him under pressure.
Outside from that three-game skid — in which he was concussed for the better part of a game — and their clash vs. the Baltimore Ravens, this guy has won every single game, so he should at least get the benefit of the doubt.
