Will the New York Jets win the Super Bowl in 2023?
That is a growing expectation for this roster, given their ‘All-In’ approach to the offseason.
Aaron Rodgers was their largest addition, but they’ve added several complementary pieces alongside him.
In his latest appearance on ‘Speak’ on FS1, Bucky Brooks discussed his expectations for the upcoming year.
When referring to Rodgers, he said, “He only has one Super Bowl ring, so yes, he has to win one.”

Rodgers’ lone Super Bowl victory came in 2011 when the Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While he’s a four-time MVP award winner, in order for the Jets to win the Super Bowl, they’ll first have to break their 12-year playoff drought.
This is the longest active streak in the league, and it’ll be a noted accomplishment if Rodgers is at least able to do that.
But, to Brooks, that simply isn’t good enough this year.
“Right now is his best opportunity to do it,” he said in referencing Rodgers’ chance to win the Super Bowl with this team.
At 39 years old, Brooks believes that 2023 will be Rodgers’ best chance at another ring for the rest of his career.
He added that Rodgers won’t get better with age, and his Super Bowl window is open.
Whether the Jets can capitalize with Rodgers steering their organizational ship remains to be seen.
They had one of the league’s best defenses in 2022, which looks to continue this season.
Rodgers does have a significant supporting cast on offense, seemingly stacking the deck in his favor.
