The Golden State Warriors didn’t have one of their key players on the court for the second half of a crucial matchup.
In what has now become a trend, controversial NBA referee Scott Foster ejected Chris Paul after he picked up two quick technical fouls.
Even Coach Steve Kerr picked up a technical foul when he argued Foster’s decision to eject Paul.
Chris Paul stated in the press conference that his issue with Scott Foster is “personal.”
“We had a situation some years ago, and it’s personal. The league knows and everyone knows, there’s been a meeting and all that, ” Paul stated.

That’s why former Suns star — and Paul teammate — Mikal Bridges took to Twitter to jokingly ask the league to “free CP3.”

Paul’s teams are 3-17 in playoff games officiated by Foster, and there was a point in which he lost 13 straight playoff games with him leading the way, plenty of them with some controversial calls.
Granted that Paul has often gotten into the referee’s faces and can also be exasperating at times, it’s more than evident that a situation exists between them on the court.
When this becomes a trend, up to the point where even oddsmakers, sportsbooks, and common fans know about it, it’s up to the league to step up and do something about it.
