Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James remains one of the NBA’s biggest stars even in his 21st year.
Normally, players as old as James begin to decline but the four-time NBA champion has yet to show any major signs of slowing down.
While he may not have the energy to go all out on both ends of the floor every game, he’s still capable of turning up the intensity when he needs to.
James and the Lakers are currently toiling near the bottom of the Western Conference standings, but they’re one of the few teams that the rest of the league wouldn’t want to see in a seven-game series.
While James has achieved more than any other player could hope to imagine, he still has his quirks and habits.
James’ former teammate Mario Chalmers described one of the more bizarre things James does on game days via Playmaker.
“Before every game, LeBron James lays his jersey on the floor and no one is allowed to step over it If someone steps over it, he will have the equipment manager get him a brand-new jersey, shorts, tights, headband, armband, and socks,” Chalmers said.

Players can be superstitious to a fault, and it sounds like James remains steadfast in his ways.
It must sound funny for fans to hear that James is so rigid in his routines, but no one in the organization will complain if it means getting a productive game out of him.
While a reason wasn’t given for why James does this, it doesn’t sound like he’s going to be stopping any time soon.
