The Phoenix Suns have one of the greatest players of all time, and perhaps the best pure scorer ever.

Kevin Durant has always been an offensive juggernaut of his own, a unique scorer who cannot be guarded or contained, not even by the best stoppers on Earth.

That’s why, once he takes over a game or gets into a rhythm, it seems like there’s not anything anybody can do but just pray he misses.

With that in mind, Suns head coach Frank Vogel went on to call him “one of the best closers ever” after watching him score nine of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to secure a win over the Portland Trail Blazers (via Duane Rankin).

Some people might disagree with Durant’s career decisions or even the way he addresses the fans on social media.

Some might not even root for him anymore.

But there’s simply no way to deny his unique offensive expertise.

He’s a seven-footer with guard-like moves, a smooth jump shot, and the ability to pull up and score over almost every single defender on Earth, barring, perhaps, Victor Wembanyama.

Durant and the Suns haven’t found much success this season, and they’ve left a lot to be desired after all the talk about them in the offseason.

Then again, he’s the kind of player who makes you believe they always have a chance to win against anybody on any given night, and you just cannot count them out because he doesn’t need a lot to get hot and single-handedly beat your favorite team.
