Ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season, the Phoenix Suns were expected to hit the ground running and potentially win an NBA Championship when it’s all said and done.

After all, the Suns formed a Big 3 of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal this past offseason.

Unfortunately, the Suns haven’t really managed to capitalize on the true potential of their Big 3 due to consistent injury troubles to Beal.

The organization suffered another defeat this season following their matchup against the Sacramento Kings.

After the 105-120 defeat, Suns head coach Frank Vogel opened up on the team’s mentality via Duane Rankin on Twitter.

“They’re pushing through. There’s frustration cause we’re losing. If there wasn’t, we’d have a real problem,” Vogel said.

“The message is being received. We’re just not playing well enough right now. Guys are staying connected. They’re pushing through. There’s frustration cause we’re losing. If there wasn’t, we’d have a real problem.”

Despite being the 10th seed in the Western Conference, Vogel believes that his team is heading in the right direction.

Vogel believes this is due to the frustrations his team is showing after losing seven out of their last 10 games in the 2023-24 NBA season.

The NBA title-winning head coach pointed out that if his players weren’t showing any major signs of frustration after losses, the Suns would have been in trouble.

Although Vogel is trying to stay positive amid the team’s struggles, it’s only a matter of time before things boil over for the team.

As of now, the Suns are at the .500 mark with a 14-14 record this season.

Considering the new year is almost upon us, it will be the perfect time for the Suns to string together a winning streak and clap back at their critics.

Otherwise, it will become increasingly difficult to see the Suns finish. as one of the top-six seeds in the Western Conference after the end of the season.
