Frank Vogel Reacts To Suns Fans Booing After Game 3 Loss

The Phoenix Suns are in the worst possible position they could be in right now.

They have little to no chances of turning the series around, and even if they don’t get swept, a five-game loss in the first round is a massive failure for a team built for a championship.

The Suns were expected to come out firing and show some pride at home to take one game back and make this a series.

Instead, they collapsed in the second half and lost in front of their home crowd to fall to a 0-3 hole.

That’s why coach Frank Vogel couldn’t blame the fans for booing them late in the game.

If anything, he understands them (via Gerald Bourguet & Legion Hoops).

“You get your butt kicked at home, the fans are gonna boo.  I don’t blame them,” Vogel said.

Of course, the Suns have more than enough firepower to at least extend this series.

Kevin Durant is a first-ballot Hall of Famer and one of the greatest scorers this game has ever seen.

However, he and Devin Booker have left something to be desired when the lights get bright, and that’s happening again this season.

To make things even worse, the Suns committed most of their salary cap to three players, two of them aging and injury-prone.

New owner Mat Ishbia went all-in to win an NBA championship now, and that experiment is about to blow up right before his eyes.

Fixing this is going to be an almost impossible task, especially if they want to hold onto their three stars.
