The Jacksonville Jaguars have been one of the worst teams in the NFL over the past decade.
There were significant team struggles before they selected Trevor Lawrence, and some of them continued into the first few years of their tenure.
Lawrence might end up being the prince that was promised if he can continue to build momentum, but his rise to stardom remains to be seen.
The Jaguars might think they’re on the up and up, but Tom Brady had something else to say.
According to Brady via The Pivot Podcast, he said, “It’s very challenging to go beat the Steelers, to beat the Dolphins. Not Jacksonville as much.”

Taylor did smile after Brady cracked his joke at the Jaguars’ expense, but it did look like he was uncomfortable with the situation he was in.
The Jaguars have often been the laughing stock of the league, and it appears that Brady just wanted to call this out.
During his tenure as an NFL quarterback, he didn’t exactly struggle to beat the Jaguars in big games, which might be a big reason for these comments.
Regardless of Brady’s meaning or intention behind these comments, there still seems to be a stigma surrounding this organization.
The Jaguars have gotten better and grown over the past several years, but until they make a deep playoff run, it’ll be tough to root for them down the stretch, even for the most diehard fans.
Will Lawrence find a way to bring this team back to consistent success and playoff berths?
