The San Francisco 49ers and Brandon Aiyuk haven’t been able to work past their issues.
The team wants to keep him there and he’s still under contract, but the talented wide receiver doesn’t seem to be comfortable at all there.
He’s been trying to create trouble ever since they lost in the Super Bowl, and the whole situation might be too big of a burden at this point.
Nonetheless, his teammates clearly have his back and want him there.
When asked about his situation, star LB Fred Warner claimed that this was actually a good problem to have, as that’s the kind of thing that happens when you have such a talented roster (via 95.7 The Game).

Warner added that the players will welcome him with open arms if they manage to keep him around, adding that he hopes they will be able to work something out.
Aiyuk is coming off the best season of his career and is one of the best route-runners in the game.
Then again, he’s not the best or most important part of their offense, and he might be asking a little too much from the team.
The Niners have made it loud and clear that Deebo Samuel is their priority, and with their plans of locking up Brock Purdy for years to come, there simply might not be enough money to give him at this moment, which doesn’t mean they don’t want him around or could work something out later.
Still, he’s becoming too much of a distraction, so perhaps they will be better off just moving on from him.
