The Los Angeles Dodgers look like a team that once again has no weaknesses this year.

Each season they have one of the best teams in baseball because they always get the best out of their players.

Also, it helps that their front office has plenty of money to spend on some of the best players in the sport.

One player who has been incredible ever since joining the Dodgers is first baseman Freddie Freeman.

Even at the age of 34, Freeman has shown no signs of slowing down.

Speaking of his age, Freeman just turned 34 on Tuesday.

He celebrated by hitting a homer on his big day.

According to Sarah Langs, Freeman has homered on his birthday in four seasons during his career.

Freddie Freeman has now homered on his birthday in 4 seasons (as has Joey Votto!)

only 6 players have homered on MORE of their birthdays, on 5 each:

Al Simmons
Alex Rodriguez
Todd Helton
Derrek Lee
Mark Reynolds

There must just be something about hitting on your birthday that Freeman loves.

But the way he has been going this year, Freeman seemingly does something special every night.

You could even argue this has been the best season of his career.

He is going to surpass 200 hits for the first time in his career this year.

Also, he has set a career-high in doubles this year with 55.

That is also the most in a single season for any Dodgers player.

Not to mention he is batting .339 with a .416 on-base percentage.

Freeman is one of the best pure hitters of this decade.

But despite many elite seasons, he has only won the MVP award once and that was in the 2020 COVID-shortened year.

Every team wants a player like Freeman, but the Dodgers are the ones who get to benefit from his greatness.
