When the Falls rolls around, it is an exciting time for sports.

The NFL season gets underway, the MLB season moves toward the playoffs, and other leagues such as the NBA and NHL are on the cusp of starting too.

With the excitement around sports in the Fall, Fox Sports 1 recently announced it’s weekday schedule for the season in terms of daily sports talk shows.

Shows such as The Herd and First Things First will take place in the afternoon with new shows like Breakfast Ball and The Facility debuting in the mornings.

Hosts like Craig Carton, Emmanuel Acho, Colin Cowherd, and Nick Wright are all sticking around for the next wave of the schedule, which is great news for the network.

In an era where sports talk dominates television and radio all day everyday, Fox Sports felt like they needed to up their game.

With the work that the NFL Network, ESPN, NBC, and CBS put into their sports shows, Fox Sports also felt like they needed to adjust their strategy to keep up with their competitors.

Time will tell whether or not the new shows find the ratings success that the network is looking for.

But in general, sports fans could be in a better place because of the variety of sports shows that FS1 has to offer this Fall.
