Gardner Minshew has experienced some ups and downs throughout his career as an NFL quarterback.

In the early days of his time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Minshew looked like he could be under center for the team for many years.

However, after some inconsistencies in his game, Minshew eventually moved on to the Philadelphia Eagles, and later, the Indianapolis Colts.

He did start 13 games for the Colts last season, winning seven of them.

While he did his job well on the Colts, Minshew’s time was limited with the organization, given that Anthony Richardson was slated to come back from his injury.

The Las Vegas Raiders took a chance on him, and he was recently named the team’s Week 1 starter.

Some players could be jaded to get passed around the league like Minshew has, but he seems to be making the most of it.

He recently spoke about the fanbase in an interview on KTNV shared by reporter Nick Walters, saying, “These people are the real deal.”

The fans have already rallied around Minshew, hoping he is the guy who can take this team to the next level.

Minshew isn’t exactly a difficult person to root for, given his personality and general likeability.

He hasn’t established himself as the face of any NFL franchise to this point in his career, but the door is wide open for him to make that happen in Las Vegas.

There isn’t a shiny new toy waiting in the wings to take the job away from him, allowing Minshew to play freely and openly.
