Fans and media members have been running wild with Davante Adams to the New York Jets rumors ever since Aaron Rodgers added fuel to the fire by saying he’d love to play with him again during a celebrity golf outing a few weeks ago.
Now, his current Jets receivers are being dragged into the rumor mill.
Jets No. 1 receiver Garrett Wilson was recently asked what he’d ask Adams if given the chance, and he provided a unique and interesting answer.
“Is he a reactor or is he a predictor?” Wilson said on “Up & Adams.”

It was a smart move by Wilson to go the technical route instead of saying something like, “So, Davante, when are you going to demand a trade to the Jets?”
Wilson then expounded on his question.
“I can’t imagine him planning a lot of the moves he makes, because it’s too good,” Wilson said. “… He has to be a reactor, that’s me assuming, I don’t know, I would love to ask him that.”
Adams is well-regarded by his peers for his ability on the field and is considered by some to be the best receiver in the league, so the question provides some insight into where Wilson’s head is at.
Clearly, he looks at Adams as someone to model his game after, and he’d likely love to share a locker room with him if given the chance.
