The Milwaukee Bucks were one of the favorites to win the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament in Las Vegas.
However, the Bucks were utterly dominated by the Indiana Pacers in the semifinals of the NBA In-Season Tournament.
Sure, the Pacers had a great performance, but outside of Giannis Antetokounmpo, every Bucks starter struggled to make their shots in the semifinals.
Following the 119-128 loss, Giannis Antetokounmpo shared his honest views on who deserves the blame for the embarrassing loss against the Pacers via The Athletic on Twitter.
“As much as I don’t want to throw anybody under the bus, at the end of the day, the players play the game,” Antetokounmpo said.
The Bucks faltered down the stretch, looking disorganized and listless in a 128-119 loss to the Pacers in the semifinals of the NBA In-Season Tournament.

Throwing a teammate under the bus is undoubtedly one of the worst things a leader can do.
It can completely destroy the team’s chemistry for the remainder of the season.
However, upon looking at the performances of Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, and Malik Beasley, it’s no surprise that Antetokounmpo wants them to take the blame for the defeat.
The four players shot a combined 24-59 from the field, which is equivalent to shooting just 40.6% from the field.
On the other hand, Antetokounmpo shot 13-19 as he scored 37 points in the losing effort.
Apart from getting eliminated from the NBA In-Season Tournament, the Bucks have also fallen to a 15-7 record in the regular season.
Although they still hold the second seed in the Eastern Conference, it’s hard to see the franchise winning the 2024 NBA Championship if they continue to fumble important games like that.
Can the Bucks make an improvement over the course of the season? Well, fans will find out in the next few months.
