Following Pete Carroll’s departure as head coach, the Seattle Seahawks continue to leave no stone unturned in their pursuit of a new boss.
GM John Schneider announced on Tuesday that they were already exploring candidates, and they’ve reached out to some prominent figures around the league.
Now, Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports reveals that they’re set to meet with New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka on Friday.
Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka will interview for the Seahawks vacant head coach position on Friday, per source.

Kafka has already interviewed for the Tennessee Titans’ head coaching vacancy as well.
He’s fresh off his second season as OC for the Giants behind Brian Daboll.
The Seahawks will also reportedly meet with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn this week, who’s currently the odds-on favorite to take the reins of the team.
They have as many as six more potential candidates on deck.
Pete Carroll will reportedly stay with the team as an advisor, and he’s expected to have a say in who’s going to succeed him.
The Seahawks overachieved last season and seem to have a bright future ahead of them, but they’ll have a tough time keeping up with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC West Division, at least for the time being.
