Giants HC Announces Starting QB For Packers Game

After an encouraging 2022 campaign, the New York Giants have taken a step back this season.

Fans were excited about the team’s playoff win, but their 4-8 record to start the year was not the result they anticipated.

Given Daniel Jones’ injury, one of the Giants’ biggest roadblocks this year has been inconsistency at the quarterback position.

Tyrod Taylor was expected to fill in for Jones, but he suffered an injury of his own, paving the way for Tommy DeVito to get a shot.

It was recently announced that Taylor is healthy, but as Ian Rapoport has recently announced, DeVito will remain the starter, at least in the upcoming Green Bay Packers matchup.

#Giants coach Brian Daboll tells reporters that QB Tommy DeVito will remain the starter for Monday night against the #Packers, even with Tyrod Taylor back practicing.

The Packers and Giants are facing off on Monday Night Football, giving DeVito a chance to prove himself in primetime.

DeVito has quickly become a beloved figure within the Giants’ fanbase and around the league.

His questionable in-game antics and an energizing on-field presence have given him significant notoriety.

DeVito isn’t just a gimmick player.

He has led the Giants to back-to-back wins, beating the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots in consecutive weeks.

He will hopefully help the Giants win their third game in a row, taking down a surging Packers squad.

The Packers are on a three-game winning streak, and both teams seem to have a positive energy surrounding them.

Fans will be interested to see how this game plays out, as both teams are involved in noteworthy storylines.
