The New York Giants have turned into one of the biggest disasters in the NFL this season.

This season compared to last is like night and day for the Giants.

Last year, everything seemed to go their way en route to making the playoffs.

But, this year the Giants have come back to Earth.

They are one of the worst teams in football with a 2-7 record and may only get worse.

This past week, the Giants lost quarterback Daniel Jones for the season after suffering a torn ACL.

With Tyrod Taylor already on injured reserve, the Giants are turning to their third-string quarterback.

According to Ian Rapoport, Giants coach Brian Daboll announced that Tommy DeVito will start on Sunday.

DeVito came in last week for Jones and threw for 175 yards and one touchdown.

But, he also added two interceptions.

He finished the game with a QBR of 3.6.

DeVito will have his hands full this weekend taking on the stout Dallas Cowboys defense.

It is a rough matchup for his first career start.

But, the Giants have no one else to go to.

It seems more and more likely that the Giants will be drafting in the top five with each passing week.

You could even make the case they finish with the worst record in the NFL.

Outside of quarterback, the Giants have many holes that need to be filled on their roster.

It would be interesting to see what happens if they end up with the first pick.

Would they consider taking a quarterback even after giving Jones a massive contract extension this past offseason?

Or would they trade the pick to try and get more draft capital?

Those are all questions they will have to ask themselves once this dreadful season ends in New York.
