The New York Giants needed to address some needs on their roster this offseason, and they did just that when they upgraded the offensive line and receiving corps.

The Giants signed Jon Runyan Jr., Jermaine Eluemunor and Aaron Stinnie to bolster an offensive line group that was ravaged by injuries during the 2023 NFL season.

However, their biggest addition might have come in the 2024 NFL Draft as they took LSU receiver Malik Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick.

Nabers was widely considered to be a top-two wide receiver prospect in the draft because of his blend of game-breaking speed and hands.

When the football is in his hands, Nabers is able to break off the home run play and should find himself peppered with targets because of his ability to get open.

In the early days of training camp, Nabers is already drawing rave reviews via Connor Hughes of SNY.

“The Giants have not had a player on their roster capable of doing what Malik Nabers is in quite some time,” Hughes reported.

Hughes doesn’t hold back any praise he has for Nabers as he has been impressed with what he’s been able to do during practice.

He even goes as far as to say that New York hasn’t had a playmaker like Nabers on the roster since they had Odell Beckham Jr.

Nabers may be a rookie, but he could very well lead the team in targets and receptions and it’ll be exciting to see what he could do once the 2024 season kicks off.
