The New York Giants are coming off one of the most disappointing seasons in the storied franchise’s history, as the team headed into the 2023 campaign with high hopes of capitalizing on a brilliant performance during the 2022 NFL season with head coach Brian Daboll leading the way on the sideline.
Unfortunately, the Giants seemingly lost all their mojo from the 2022 campaign, which led to New York falling way short of what many anticipated they’d be able to do last season.
After its poor showing last season, New York has already undergone some drastic changes, with potentially more to come, especially on the offensive side of the football.
The most significant blow during the offseason thus far has been the departure of star running back Saquon Barkley, who chose to sign with the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles in NFL free agency.
Along with Barkley leaving the team on his own terms, the Giants are actively looking for Daniel Jones’ successor under center, as it was seemingly a mistake to re-sign him.
One option the Giants have is bringing in a quarterback during the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft, with the team potentially ready to trade up to get one of the best prospects on April 25, like Jayden Daniels, who they’ll be bringing in for a visit.

As of right now, Daniels is expected to be one of the first three quarterbacks off the board in the upcoming draft, as he could be taken as high as No. 2 overall, which is ironically owned by the division-rival Washington Commanders.
However, there’s always a chance that a team like the Giants could trade up and make a splash by drafting Daniels, who would be the next face of the franchise.
