One of the most enjoyable games for NBA fans to play is “Start, Bench, Cut,” where you choose which stars you would play, put in the second unit, and bypass entirely on a hypothetical team.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas recently played on the latest episode of “The OGs Show” and had to choose from LeBron James, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant.

Arenas shocked many when he chose to start James, bench Jordan and cut Bryant, who he claims is his favorite player.

Arenas defended himself, saying he couldn’t have Jordan and Bryant on the same team because Jordan would never take to the bench after starting.

Of all the combinations to choose from, this might be the most difficult.

James, Jordan, and Bryant are three massively successful and impressive NBA stars and would probably get their faces on a basketball Mt. Rushmore.

How can someone possibly choose who to cut in this scenario?

Arenas was smart to think beyond skill and contemplate team chemistry too.

He said that James would be willing to take to the bench after starting the game but he couldn’t foresee a situation where Jordan would ever walk off the court.

While some NBA fans likely agree with Arenas’ take, others surely take issue with him cutting Bryant.

The rich amount of talent among these three players makes it so hard to definitively choose.

The fact that this question is so difficult is further proof of just how great James, Jordan, and Bryant are.

Any team would be lucky to have just one of them.
