Compiling a list of the five best NBA players of all time is very difficult, especially for people who have followed the league for a very long time.
Gilbert Arenas didn’t just play in the NBA but he’s also a devoted fan.
On the latest episode of his show, Arenas said he is tinkering with his personal top-five list because of Stephen Curry’s recent performance at the Paris Olympics.
He claims that the Olympics were Curry’s “moment” that cemented him as one of the best of all time.
“The Olympic performance did it for me,” Arenas said, adding that he wants Curry in his all-time top five but he isn’t sure where he fits.

Arenas said that his top five used to be Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and Magic Johnson.
He said that Curry is now on the list, which technically makes it six but Arenas is giving himself some wiggle room.
It was Curry’s time in Paris that changed things for Arenas.
The gold medal game against France featured Curry putting on a clinic from beyond the three-point line.
Again and again, he showed the world why he’s valued as the best shooter of all time.
He couldn’t have been any better and sealed the deal for the Americans.
Arenas listed several big NBA moments, times when icons of the game were able to show up and put on a show that wouldn’t ever be forgotten.
He said that Curry’s gold medal game was his moment and it cemented his status among the rest of the league.
The response to Curry’s Olympic performance was so positive that it’s clear Arenas isn’t the only one rewriting their top-five lists.
