One of the most entertaining and unstoppable players in the NBA today is superstar Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks, who seems to get better and better with every passing year, especially this season, as he’s become the league’s elite scorer with an NBA-best 33.9 points per game.
Along with lighting up the Atlanta Hawks earlier in the season for a career-high 73 points, Doncic has been scorching hot offensively this season as he continues to do the seemingly impossible on the basketball court by scoring from anywhere on the court consistently.
Last season, the Mavericks were a mess with the team missing the NBA playoffs entirely, even after acquiring superstar guard Kyrie Irving, but this year, things appear to be coming together for Doncic and company as they are arguably the hottest team in the league with the postseason looming.
With Doncic playing the best basketball of his career and Irving fitting in nicely in Dallas, the Mavericks are gearing up for what will almost certainly be another epic playoff series with the Los Angeles Clippers.
As the Mavericks prepare to take on the Clippers, former NBA star Gilbert Arenas argues that Doncic owns Kawhi Leonard and company, via the “Nightcap” podcast.

The Mavericks have won nine out of their last 10 games, including five straight, while the Clippers have won seven of their last 10, which means both teams are clicking at the right time.
Earlier in the season, the Clippers would’ve seemed like the better team coming into this playoff series, but now that has changed, with Dallas looking incredibly good ahead of the postseason.
