Former NBA player, Glen ‘Big Baby’ Davis, has made the rounds recently, but not for the best reasons.

The former Boston Celtics star was sentenced to spend 40 months in prison.

He was involved in a scheme to defraud the NBA’s Players’ Health and Benefit Welfare Plan, and while he’s currently appealing the judge’s ruling, all signs point to him spending some time behind bars.

Nonetheless, according to a report by TMZ Sports, the former NBA champion isn’t breaking a sweat right now:

“I feel like I’m going to have good quality time in there,” the former hooper said. “Learn things, meet new people. It’s going to be all right.”

If anything, he believes he’s going to make some new acquaintances and will have an opportunity to get in shape there.

He also said that he doesn’t expect to have any trouble with other inmates, and to be honest, one would have to think twice before messing with a 6-foot-9 specimen.

Davis has always been known for his playful and apologetic nature and his evident lack of maturity, so this isn’t much of a surprise.

Davis had a decent career in the league, but he often struggled with off-court antics.

He had the physical tools to be a dominant player and a perennial Sixth Man of the Year candidate in his prime, but that wasn’t the case.
