Grant Williams’ Post With Luka Doncic Is Going Viral After Big Performance

The Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks recently had an epic battle during the 2023-24 NBA season.

It was a high-scoring effort from each side, with the final score standing at 148-143 in favor of the Mavericks.

Luka Doncic was undoubtedly the star of the show, as he finished the game with 73 points.

Thanks to the brilliant scoring effort, Luka Doncic now holds the record for the fourth-most points scored by an individual in the history of the NBA.

Keeping Doncic’s phenomenal performance in mind, his teammate Grant Williams decided to congratulate him in a unique style, as revealed via NBA on ESPN on Twitter.

“82 points right here. Congrats brother that was special to witness it,” Grant Williams tweeted.

While Luka Doncic created history by scoring more than 70 points in a single regular season game, Williams had his usual single-digit scoring night.

However, Williams hilariously posted that he and Doncic combined for 82 points against the Atlanta Hawks.

To be precise, Doncic put up 73 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists in 45 minutes of playing time.

On the other hand, Williams had 9 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in 28 minutes of action.

Thanks to the combined effort of the two players, the Mavericks managed to register a 148-143 win over the Hawks.

Following the victory, the Mavericks improved their record to 25-20 as they continue to hold the 8th seed in the Western Conference this season.
