To say that the Chicago Bears aren’t the most entertaining team to watch would be a bit of an understatement.

For whatever reason, the league continues to put Bears games in Primetime slots, and while that’s not always pretty to watch, they actually seem to be at their best in that setting.

A graphic shown by NFL on CBS shows that they’ve actually thrived when they’ve been in Primetime with Matt Eberflus at the helm.

The Bears have a 4-3 record in Primetime, as opposed to a 3-19 record in all other games.

They’ve also allowed 18.0 points per game, as opposed to 28.8 points per game in other circumstances.

Last, but not least, they have a +0.7 net rating, as opposed to a -8.9 net rating in all other games.

Needless to say, Matt Eberflus’ tenure in charge of the team has been far from successful, but you can’t say that he doesn’t enjoy being in the spotlight.

The Bears did just enough to keep the chains moving and spoil the Minnesota Vikings’ divisional aspirations, and they did it on the road.

Justin Fields continues to alternate impressive plays and throws with head-scratching ones, but a lot of that has also had to do with his subpar supporting cast and game-planning.

Even so, the Ohio State product is less than likely to stay put in the Windy City next season.

With the Bears likely getting two picks in the top three, they’re a lock to pursue either Caleb Williams or Drake Maye, leaving the door wide open for Fields to take his talents somewhere else.
