The Chicago Cubs might be an interesting team to watch in 2023 as they look to rebound from two-straight losing seasons.
They’re off to a decent start so far, having won six of their first 10 games.
The team sits in third place in the National League Central, but are just 1.5 games back of the Milwaukee Brewers, who lead the division.
But on Tuesday, the Cubs pulled off an epic comeback against the Seattle Mariners.
In the bottom of the second inning, the North Siders found themselves down 7-0.
But they quickly began to chip away and ultimately pulled out a 14-9 win over the Mariners.
On Twitter, MLB Network posted a graphic which featured a list of some of the Cubs’ biggest comebacks.

Tuesday night’s comeback is tied for second all-time among Cubs rallies.
On September 12, 2006, the team erased a seven-run deficit against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
They did the same on June 19, 2009 against the Cleveland Indians.
The Cubs have also pulled off some comebacks after being down eight runs.
They accomplished that feat on September 12, 1998 against the Milwaukee Brewers, then again on May 30, 2008 against the Colorado Rockies.
On April 18, 2018, they managed to do it against the Atlanta Braves.
Needless to say, the Cubs have managed to pull off a lot of impressive comebacks over the course of their history, despite their long track record of losing and futility.
Their affinity for comebacks was on full display on Tuesday night against the Mariners.
The Cubs improved to 6-4 and are looking to gain some more ground in the NL Central.
