The Los Angeles Dodgers continue to flex their muscles in free agency each year.
The Dodgers have no problem paying up for some of the best players in the sport.
Even though they have nothing to show for it in recent years, the Dodgers will not stop looking to improve their team.
The biggest free agent this offseason was two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani.
He was expected to get a massive contract, and the Dodgers were always interested.
Ohtani ended up signing a 10-year deal worth $700 million with the Dodgers.
Now they have one of the best Big 3s in baseball.

Last season, Ohtani won his second AL MVP, while Betts and Freeman finished second and third in NL MVP voting.
Having all three of these players on the same team almost seems unfair.
Unfortunately, Ohtani will not be able to pitch next season which hurts some of his value.
However, he will still be their DH and provide plenty of pop to their lineup.
Anything short of a World Series title would be a disappointment for the Dodgers.
You cannot spend as much money as they have and not have something to show for it.
Next season should be the first time we see Ohtani in the playoffs.
The league is better when the star players are on the biggest stage.
This new Big 3 in LA should have no problem having success.
