The Las Vegas Raiders made the move to draft All-American tight end Brock Bowers out of Georgia with 13th overall pick.
Bowers is one of the most talented rookies coming into the league this year and can be a great weapon in Sin City this year.
Former 14-year tight end and Pro-Bowler Greg Olsen joined “The Herd” recently to chat about what Bowers will bring to his team this season.
“He might be the best college tight end production-wise, just the eye test, that I’ve ever really seen,” Olsen said.

Olsen would know what it takes to be a great tight end.
He was an All-ACC tight end at Miami before coming into the league and playing almost a decade-and-a-half.
The former three-time Pro-Bowler and two-time All-Pro went over 1,000 yards receiving three times while with the Carolina Panthers.
Bowers could follow in Olsen’s footsteps as another great tight end.
The two-time national champion and two-time Mackey Award-winner caught 55+ passes in each of his three years playing for Kirby Smart.
He averaged 14.5 yards per reception over his collegiate career too.
Standing at 6-3 and weighing close to 250 pounds, Bowers can be a real force in Las Vegas.
With Davante Adams, other tight end Michael Mayer, former 1,000-yard receiver Michael Gallup, and free-agent signee Alexander Mattison, the addition of Bowers will do wonders for this offense.
Despite the loss of All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs, look for this offense to still be tough to stop in the rookie year of Bowers.
