The Miami Heat are still trying to get Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers.
But just because he is the main prize they are aiming for doesn’t mean they don’t have their eyes on other NBA free agents.
According to Grey Sylvander and Five Reasons Sports, per Jeremey Kazieva, the Heat are thinking of adding two more players.
“If the Heat do finally ever figure out a Dame trade…watch for both Christian Wood and Kelly Oubre to be on the team’s radar as possible vet minimum additions in free agency,” Sylvander said.

This would be quite a trio for the Heat and would really make up for the losses they endured at the start of free agency.
Everyone knows what Lillard is capable of and it’s clear why the Heat want him.
As for Wood, the big man averaged 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds on 51.5% from the field during last season with the Dallas Mavericks.
Despite an impressive showing, the team’s front office decided he isn’t part of their future and he is currently looking for a new NBA team to call home.
Kelly Oubre is a star forward who could greatly assist the Heat offensively.
He produced 20.3 points last season with the Charlotte Hornets.
These are two of the most talked-about free agents on the market and they could fill the voids left by Max Strus and Gabe Vincent, who left for new teams weeks ago.
The question is if the Heat will still pursue these two if they don’t get Lillard.
Right now, they don’t have a deal with the Trail Blazers and it’s possible they never make one.
If that happens, would they then just focus on Wood and Oubre instead?
