The Miami Heat are looking forward to the 2024-2025 NBA season.

They have made several key additions throughout the offseason to try and improve their roster, which includes Kel’el Ware, their 2024 draft pick.

Ware could provide immense upside to this team, especially considering his size and overall strength.

As a 7-footer, if Ware can play as well as the team is hoping for, they could pair him with Bam Adebayo in the post, creating a matchup nightmare for opposing teams.

While fans have several months until they can see what Ware will do on the court, he recently had an interview with Bally Sports Florida, giving a taste of his personality.

He was asked about his NBA “Mount Rushmore,” as the interview was interested in the top four players in NBA history in his mind.

Ware gave two common answers in Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant, but his mentions of Anthony Edwards and Adebayo aren’t necessarily two players that come to mind for most NBA fans.

Edwards hasn’t been in the league for very long, and while Adebayo is a great player for the Heat, he isn’t commonly discussed as one of the best centers in league history.

Regardless of the precedent surrounding these answers, Ware seemed confident in his picks.

He truly believes that these are the four players on his NBA “Mount Rushmore,” which could cause controversy.

His answer of Adebayo could put him in the good graces of his new teammate, who he will hopefully play exceptionally well with.
