The Miami Heat have been involved in a series of rumors involving disgruntled Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard.
The point guard finally demanded a trade from his first and only NBA team on Saturday, and the Heat appear to be the leaders of this race.
According to reports, Lillard’s preferred destination is Miami, but the teams are yet to find a way to complete the trade.
Tyler Herro was mentioned among the players that could be involved in a potential Lillard deal, and he appears to be listening to all the rumors.
The guard recently removed the ‘Miami Heat guard’ from his Twitter bio and changed his header.

Of course, this decision raised a lot of speculation among fans, who are convinced the Heat are letting Herro go.

This move is still a work in progress. Miami and Portland will need to find a third team to accelerate the trade.
The San Antonio Spurs have been named as the third team that could land Herro.
A lot can still happen between these teams, especially knowing that Portland wants to get the best possible return for Lillard.
Other teams like the Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, and Los Angeles Clippers have been mentioned among Lillard’s potential landing spots, but the Heat are still the frontrunners.
