Aaron Rodgers has been there almost every single day since he joined the New York Jets.
He was there for the entire offseason in 2023, and he attended voluntary workouts this offseason.
That’s why, as much as some people wanted to make a big fuss about him missing minicamp earlier in the offseason, neither he nor the team seems to be bothered about that.
According to multiple reports, Rodgers had already scheduled his vacation before the team released its schedule, and they were aware of that trip months in advance.
That’s why NFL analyst Herm Edwards believes this isn’t even a story.
Talking on ESPN’s Get Up, Edwards argued that this is just who Aaron Rodgers is, adding that the Jets were aware of it and on board with it when they got him.

Edwards adds that all everybody wants is to watch Aaron Rodgers be healthy and play, knowing just how electric and fun this offense could be if he’s out there.
He also claims that Rodgers knows and understands the pressure he’s under right now, which is why missing a couple of days of minicamp shouldn’t be a big deal.
At the end of the day, this is Aaron Rodgers we’re talking about.
One may or may not like him or agree with what he has to say, but he’s always been a pro’s pro.
He’s been a positive presence there and has stayed close to the players even when he was out with an injury, and he’s going to be there when it actually counts.
