Just a few weeks ago, Reggie Jackson was traded to the Charlotte Hornets but everyone knew he wouldn’t be there for long.
Sure enough, Adrian Wojnarowski is now reporting that Jackson agreed to a contract buyout with the Hornets and plans to join the Philadelphia 76ers after clearing waivers.
With this deal, Jackson is getting a place on one of the most exciting teams in the East and the Sixers are receiving a sharpshooting guard who could greatly help their offense.

Last season, Jackson averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 assists for the Denver Nuggets.
He shot 43.1% from the floor and 35.9% from the three-point line.
Throughout his career, Jackson has been a reliable role player and bench star who has helped out several teams.
He started with the Oklahoma City Thunder and then moved on to the Detroit Pistons, Los Angeles Clippers, and finally the Nuggets.
Some people felt the Nuggets made a mistake by letting Jackson go but their loss could be Philadelphia’s gain.
The Sixers have been pretty busy this offseason and have enhanced their roster, particularly with the addition of Paul George.
The inclusion of Jackson will make them more of an offensive threat and will take pressure off George, Tyrese Maxey, and others.
He will help space the floor and will definitely be handy if he comes off the bench.
The 76ers will be receiving a lot of attention next season because fans are eager and nearly desperate to see them finally go far in the playoffs.
Jackson has playoff experience and obvious skill and could be a pivotal piece to the team.
