Everybody raves about Todd Monken’s offense and Lamar Jackson when they talk about the Baltimore Ravens — and rightfully so — but they’re more than just a one-sided team.
Their defense is also stacked with bruisers and playmakers, and they’ve made sure to leave a mark in almost every game they’ve played this season.
Notably, ESPN’s Adam Schefter pointed that out on Twitter by signaling out the five quarterbacks who have suffered injuries while playing against them this year.
Here are some of the notable injuries QBs have suffered this season vs. the Ravens defense:
Week 6: Ryan Tannehill: High-ankle sprain
Week 10: Deshaun Watson: Fractured shoulder
Week 11: Joe Burrow: Torn wrist ligament
Week 15: Trevor Lawrence: Concussion

Tennessee Titans QB Ryan Tannehill suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 6 that ended up costing him his starting job for the remainder of the year.
Then, Deshaun Watson suffered a fractured shoulder in Week 10, leaving the Cleveland Browns’ to Joe Flacco after his best game with the organization.
Just one week later, Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow also suffered a season-ending ailment, a torn wrist ligament that put their season in jeopardy.
Then, in Week 15, Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars couldn’t do anything to stop that front seven, and the former No. 1 pick left the game with a concussion.
Last but not least, San Francisco 49ers’ Brock Purdy suffered a stinger in Monday night’s blowout loss to John Harbaugh’s team.
Of course, it’s not like these guys are actively trying to hurt the opposing quarterback or playing dirty football.
But they’re physical, stout, and they have a great nose for reaching the opposing signal-caller, and whoever meets them in the postseason is going to have their hands full against such a bruising defensive unit like this one.
