For many years, the Chicago Bears have been seemingly in a perpetual rebuild, and with a 4-8 record right now, it once again looks like they’re going nowhere fast.

Justin Fields, who is now in his third season, clearly isn’t their long-term answer at quarterback, and they don’t have a lot of pieces who they can build around.

There have been rumors that head coach Matt Eberflus’ job is in jeopardy, and the replacement Bears fans are dreaming about is Jim Harbaugh, who is currently coaching not too far away at the University of Michigan.

But Jordan Schultz says he doesn’t see it becoming a reality because Kevin Warren, the president and CEO of the Bears, doesn’t have a good relationship with Harbaugh.

Jim Harbaugh to the #Bears? I don’t see it. Here’s why:

Prior to this season, Warren spent four years as the commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, where he watched Harbaugh turn the Wolverines into winners.

Right now, the Wolverines appear to have a real shot at winning the national championship, and some feel if they do so, it would mean a better chance of Harbaugh returning to the NFL.

He first came into the league for the 2011 season, when he took over a San Francisco 49ers team that had fallen on hard times for most of the 2000s, only to turn it into an instant winner.

He made them into a powerhouse defensive team, and they reached the NFC Championship Game in each of his first three seasons with them while reaching Super Bowl XLVII.

If Harbaugh wants to return to the pros, there will surely be plenty of teams interested in his services.
