The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have found themselves amid a contract dispute with one of their biggest stars.
Mike Evans reportedly seeks an extension and has given the team until their season opener to figure things out.
Josina Anderson has recently reported that the ball is now in the Buccaneers’ court, as Evans’ team has drafted a deal.
I’m told over the course of talks between both sides, the #Bucs received a contract structure that’s acceptable to Mike Evans, and takes Tampa’s considerations into account as well, per source.

With this in mind, Buccaneers fans now turn to the organization in hopes they will accept the terms of this deal.
Evans has been a staple of the Buccaneers’ offense, one of the top players on their team since he was drafted.
It appears that Evans would like to stay with the team, even though they might not be able to compete in 2023.
If the Buccaneers can’t orchestrate a deal, plenty of teams are rumored to be interested in Evans.
His veteran presence would be appreciated in many locker rooms across the league, and his on-field production couldn’t hurt.
Throughout his career, Evans has achieved at least 1,000 yards in each season, even with spotty quarterback play.
He now heads into year 10 knowing Baker Mayfield is the Buccaneers’ starting quarterback.
The Buccaneers’ season kicks off in less than a week in a matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
All eyes will be on Evans as he begins his quest for a tenth-straight season with at least 1,000 receiving yards.
Can he find a way with Mayfield as his quarterback?
And, will the team be motivated to sign him to an extension, or will they let him move on?
