Jacksonville Jaguars fans have been waiting to hear an update on Trevor Lawrence’s status.
Lawrence was struggling with a knee injury during the Jaguars’ win over the Indianapolis Colts, leaving him in jeopardy of missing time.
However, in a recent conversation with “Good Morning Football,” Ian Rapoport confirmed that Lawrence will take the field for the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football.

This is great news for the Jaguars and their fanbase, as Lawrence and the offense are on a roll.
They have won three straight games, averaging 28.3 points per game during that span.
Lawrence has started to live up to the potential of a former No. 1 overall pick, and the Jaguars have benefitted as a result.
Through six weeks, the Jaguars find themselves with a 4-2 record and are currently atop the AFC South.
If they can beat the New Orleans Saints on TNF and can take down the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, the Jaguars will be in a great position heading into the back half of the season.
Having Lawrence on the field gives the Jaguars the best possible opportunity to win games.
These two matchups should be seen as must-win games heading into the Jaguars’ Week 9 bye.
After the bye, they face off against the dreaded San Francisco 49ers in what should be a battle between two likely playoff teams.
This should be a good litmus test for both rosters, an opportunity for both teams to come away with a statement win.
Can Lawrence stay healthy until that game, garnering enough strength to take down the mighty 49ers?
