The Denver Broncos haven’t been among the NFL’s best teams for several seasons.

Even though this organization has been successful in the past, they haven’t found much traction lately.

The front office believed that Russell Wilson could be a difference-maker for their team, but with his recent release, it is clear that this short-lived experience is over.

With this in mind, the Broncos are slated to be on the lookout for at least one quarterback heading into the 2024 campaign.

Some expect them to go after a QB in the draft, while others have indicated they could find someone in free agency.

Broncos Insider Benjamin Allbright recently posted a cryptic tweet about the Broncos, highlighting that they could add a new quarterback soon.

“I suspect the Denver Broncos will have a new quarterback on the roster rather soon,” Allbright said.

This is an ominous tweet, especially since the draft is still several weeks away.

Allbright has been privy to information about information from the Broncos in the past, which makes this tweet all the more interesting.

The Broncos were thought to be capped by Wilson’s contract that will still be on the books for the 2024 campaign.

Even though he is slated to not be on the roster, the Broncos will need to pay him a large sum from his contract, which could hinder their ability to sign a marquee free agent.

They could take a chance on a young, underperforming quarterback on another NFL roster, hoping they can grow and develop him into a full-time starter.

Broncos fans have been waiting for the team to return to a place of solid quarterback play, so they will have to wait and see how it all unfolds, especially after Allbright’s tweet.
