The Boston Celtics were able to put the Los Angeles Lakers away on Christmas afternoon, beating LeBron James and his team 126-115.

It was the third win in a row for the Celtics, who have now found victory in eight of their last nine games and have the best record in the entire league.

Speaking of the team’s current lineup, Vincent Goodwill said, “Their six best players blow everyone in the league away.”

That quote, courtesy of Ball Don’t Lie, shows just how competitive and feared this current group of players is.

On Monday night, multiple players from the Celtics were doing incredible work against the Lakers.

Kristaps Porzingis led the way with 28 points and 11 rebounds while Jayson Tatum again sailed past the Lakers with his 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Meanwhile, Jaylen Brown overcame an injury during the game and produced 19 points and both Jrue Holiday and Derrick White put up 18.

It’s not entirely clear who Goodwill is referring to when he mentions six players because there are multiple stars who could be the team’s sixth man.

On Monday, it was Payton Pritchard who shocked the Lakers with his 10 points and two important three-pointers.

The Celtics have been adjusting their roster a lot recently and made some significant changes in the summer.

But it’s all led them to this point and they are clearly very happy with the squad they have now.

However, there have been rumors of the front office making more changes and committing to trades in order to bolster the second unit.
