There have been several pressing questions throughout the NFL offseason.
One of the biggest has been surrounding the quarterback position, and where many teams will turn heading into 2024.
In the NFL, having a solid quarterback is paramount to a team’s success, making this process a difficult decision for teams throughout the league.
Kirk Cousins’ name has been thrown around as one of if not the best free-agent prospects available.
He has found success with the Minnesota Vikings, but, as it has recently been discussed, Cousins is expected to test free agency, seeing what teams are interested in his services.
Tom Pelissero discussed this on a segment of NFL Total Access, pointing to the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons as two possible destinations for the veteran quarterback.
“Other teams that I would expect to pursue Cousins do include the Atlanta Falcons and quite possibly the Denver Broncos,” Pelissero said.

The Broncos just moved on from Russell Wilson, so they will need a quarterback heading into 2024.
However, while this need exists, they are stuck with Wilson’s massive contract on the books.
It would be nearly impossible for them to sign Cousins to the type of deal that he’s looking for.
They might present as an intriguing option, but at this point, it doesn’t appear that the financials will line up.
The Falcons, on the other hand, do not face the same struggle.
They have spent a lot of time in the NFL Draft, building their team with young, talented skill-position players, but without a top-tier QB to lead them, they haven’t found as much success as they initially anticipated.
Will they make a run at Cousins, snatching him away from the Vikings?
