Giannis Antetokounmpo has signaled disappointment with the Milwaukee Bucks in recent weeks.

The two-time NBA champion has made his demands extremely clear: If the Bucks cannot build a contending roster, he wants to look at his options in the future.

Antetokounmpo averaged 31.1 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 5.7 assists per game in the 2022-23 NBA season.

Giannis led the Bucks to the best record in the Eastern Conference as they finished the season as the first seed.

Despite that, the Bucks were eliminated in the First Round of the 2023 postseason.

Keeping his recent comments in mind, many expect the 28-year-old to leave the Bucks, and there are three teams that NBA insider Ramona Shelburne revealed as potential destinations for him via Dru on Twitter.

“The Knicks & Lakers pop to the front of my mind. And then, of course, you have to bring up the Miami Heat. That’s the team whenever there’s a star that may become available, you have to bring up Miami,” Shelburne said.

“What teams would you be watching [for Giannis]” @ZachLowe_NBA

Shelburne named the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks as the top destinations for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Both teams are viewed as two of the biggest markets in the NBA.

However, Shelburne also believes that the Miami Heat would also try to trade for or sign Giannis in the future.

The Heat have advanced to two of the last four NBA Finals.

Although it’s great to play in two NBA finals in such a short span, the Lakers and Knicks undoubtedly have a much better roster on paper.

With that being said, the 2021 NBA champion could demand a trade to either team in the near future.

Of course, there’s the possibility that Antetokounmpo simply stays with the Bucks and the past few weeks have been a decoy to get the Bucks to get help around him.
